this is dope owen, whats going on in this. poisoned air tank espionage mission o waht. nice sketchbook piece, like the loose line and quick fill. fudge i need a scanner already. and what did you think about that last piece i did- a little corny and slightly untastylike but it was good exercise.
Apparently some sort of undersea lab tragedy? This was one of those (rare) pieces for me that sort of unraveled as it was drawing itself. And yeah, I definitely think a scanner makes a big difference, even with stuff that's primarily digital. Your last (Spawn?) piece seems close, and but a little all over the place in terms of focus, like the colors are sort of duking it out with each other and then the textures get into the mix and so to me, and this might just be my visual tastes talking, to me it's hard to find a place my eyes can rest for a second. Especially when see it next to the Hypocrisy drawing, which has more of a balance with the active/passive areas. Just my two cents. Mainly it's cool to hear the exercise was helpful, I think thats at least as valuable, if not more, than whatever state the sketch ends up.
